"Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire."
--The grateful dead
I genuinely love what I do and my interest in this field only keeps intensifying as the years pass. My personal ethics and that of my profession are congruent with one another and it is my belief that putting love, care and kindness into the world has a ripple effect throughout the complex network of relationships that connect us.
My experiences in life, and my own struggles with mental health and addictions have left me with a humbling feeling that I have no right to judge others. I have felt broken beyond repair and too fearful of being judged to reach out for help. I also know the tremendous sense of relief and safety that comes with finding supports that genuinely care. My own healing journey showed me that when the therapy process is done right, it works, and lasting change is possible.
That is why, out of anything in this whole world I can do, I choose to provide others a soft place to land and a safe place to heal.
